Schliff
Schliff
Schliff presents itself in the glass with a light straw-yellow colour and delicate green reflections. On the nose, it is fresh and aromatic, with hints of elderflower, mint, kiwi, and lemon. On the palate, it is smooth and lively, with crisp alpine acidity and a mineral touch, ending with a long, pleasant finish.
- Vineyard
The vineyards are situated on southeast-facing slopes at elevations between 420 and 490 metres above sea level. They are characterised by deep, limestone moraine soils mixed with large porphyry rocks.
- Age of the vines ca. 26-31 years
- Vinification
Short maceration in the press, followed by controlled fermentation and over nine months of ageing on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks and tonneaux. The wine is then matured for at least an additional 10 months in bottle.
- Pairing recommendations
Pairs beautifully with mushroom risotto, potato rösti with smoked salmon or pasta with fennel and goat cheese.
